Living in the Opening Scenes of a Surreal 3D Disaster Movie

For about the last five years I’ve experienced this odd feeling while out in public, like I’m living in what seems like the opening scenes of a surreal 3D disaster movie.

Disaster movies always start out showing several families or characters in their  everyday life, normally first thing in the morning waking up, completely unaware of what’s about to happen to them.

Then the screen cuts away to the disaster, an asteroid heading toward earth, or a rumbling earthquake fault that sends the wildlife running, or any number of disaster plots. You, as the spectator or movie-goer get foreknowledge or insight into the coming disaster. This is where I feel stuck right now, like the movie Groundhog Day.

For about eight years I’ve researched the geopolitical, financial, and prophetic chaos brewing on the horizon that most people are blissfully unaware of. No one cares about these disasters brewing in their immediate future. I believe this is an exciting time to be alive on planet earth. Christians throughout history could only anticipate and ponder the days unfolding before us right now.

As I go through my daily routine while out in public, I watch all these sleepy unaware people. I actually feel like a passive spectator in the opening scenes of a real-life, surreal, 3D disaster movie. I know better than to try to wake any of these deceived people. There’s nothing I can do or say to them that can possibly compete with the barrage of misinformation from the multi-billion dollar controlled mainstream media. I learned that the hard way and I don’t even try anymore, except for here.

I understand too well what Jesus meant when He said, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.” I’m not claiming to be a prophet. But the logic must go something like this, if I know you, then you can’t possibly know anything that will change my worldview.

I’ve concluded most people have this herd mentality that believes, “I know you have all the facts to substantiate all these conspiracy theories, but the TV, me, and all my friends see it differently. Guess you’re out there all by yourself. I don’t want to be a nut so don’t confuse me with the facts”.

That position is so prevalent that I just watch now. On a positive note, I get the 3D version without having to wear those funny 3D glasses.
