Diet Science Weekly Feed – Four Fats That Burn Body Fat

Dee’s motto is you have to eat fat to lose fat, but it has to be the right kind of fat. Dee identifies four remarkable dietary fats that actually help you lose fat. Listen in to this short 9 minute podcast and find out how you can lose those extra pounds.

Four fats:

Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acid – Fish and fish oil, seeds, nuts, some green leafy vegetables. Help the body respond to leptin better. Suppresses appetite. Helps burn energy now verses storing as fat.

Conjugated Linoleic Acid CLA – Specifically targets belly fat, only natural occurring trans fat. Helps maintain weight and prevents fat from being stored. In meat and milk of grass fed cows.

Gamma Linoleic Acid GLA, –  Omega 6. Helps activate and mobilize brown fat. Comes from borage seed oil, black currant seed oil, evening primrose oil. Works on overall body fat.

Coconut Oil – Medium chain triglyceride will not store as fat. Helps in weight loss.
