Skinny Pie Ideas: Cherry and Apple Pie Filling, No Sugar Added w Pecan Crust

One problem I now remember with an apple or peach crisp is the oatmeal topping gets soggy after a day or two. It’s better to make a smaller serving, (one pie filling can) in a smaller dish and use it up in one or two days. Or, leave the oatmeal crumble topping off and just bake the pie filling in the buttered baking dish. Then sprinkle with an organic Honey and Oat granola per serving.

Here’s an even easier low calorie fruit desert.

Pecan Pie Crust 960 calories and a 210 Calorie No Sugar Added Pie Filling.  That’s 146 calories for 8 slices, or 195 calories for a larger slice, 6 pieces per pie.

Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Open can of pie filling. Dump in the Pecan Crust and spread with a spatula. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Add Reddi Wip spray topping (blue cap).  This is actually pretty good. I sprinkled a bit of extra cinnamon on the apple. The cherry pie filling is delicious after baking for 45 minutes.

Buy the blue cap version of Reddi Wip. It can be as much as $7+ a can in most grocery stores, but only $4.97 at Walmart for the large can. Look at that advertised rate below (2 for $4) from about 10 years ago.
