Ezekiel Diet Note:  For several weeks Mike Adams, from NaturalNews, Brighteon, The Health Ranger Store, and Brighteon Broadcast News has been dropping the term Universal Christ, which is basically Universalism, the belief that everyone goes to Heaven. In the interview below Mike finally spills the beans and claims all religions have “access” to heaven without accepting Jesus Christ’s personal sacrifice and finished work on the cross.

I would agree that everyone in any religion has “access” to heaven. But it can only happen through hearing and believing the salvation story through Jesus Christ’s finished work (sacrifice) on the cross for our redemption. But Mike doesn’t include Jesus in his equation. This means Mike is teaching another gospel.

At about 51 minutes into the video below Mike starts a Universal Christ diatribe and claims we’ve all been saved from the moment of conception. He equates Jesus Christ’s finished work on the cross as a fairy-tale for adults, just like Santa Clause is a fairy-tale for children.  Mike says: “In truth we’re all children of God, we’ve already been saved from the moment we were conceived, we’ve already been saved, all of us have access to heaven, regardless of our religion. Could be Islam, could be Christian, could be Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, even Atheism. Yes even atheists have access to heaven. What determines our experience after this simulation in heaven is our deeds. It’s our works.” Ouch, that’s going to leave a mark.

So, Mike is teaching a works salvation and a Universal Christ or Universalism. I’ve suspected this for weeks now. But I finally have proof from his own mouth.

I just deleted his podcast from my phone. I’ll also be deleting the NaturalNews feed to this site.  I didn’t listen to any of Mike’s “sermons” as it struck me as odd at the time, or presumptuous with a large dose of hubris that he was qualified to teach scripture.

I thought Mike was smart, I now think otherwise. He’s wise in his own eyes. The phrase “wise in his own eyes” appears in Proverbs 26:12, which states that there is more hope for a fool than for someone who is conceited about their own wisdom. This highlights the danger of pride and self-deception in one’s understanding.

The Bible taken as a whole presents a much stronger case against Universalism than for it.

A partial truth is no truth at all. Universalism promotes its partial truths at the expense of the complete biblical truth. Christ himself refutes Universalism every time he speaks of Hell, and he spoke about it more than anyone in Scripture. Since Christ clearly taught that not everyone will go to Heaven, and that some will go to Hell, it is logically inconsistent to claim to follow Christ and also be a Universalist.

Anyone who teaches a different gospel than the one originally preached is considered to be accursed, as stated in Galatians 1:8-9. This emphasizes the importance of adhering to the true message of Christ.
