Put a Missionary on the Payroll Spotlight: Joe & Michelle Campos – Things To Come Mission

Ezekiel Diet Note: Missionaries do the most important work on the planet and we act like they don’t exist.

Millions worldwide are being jettisoned by democide eugenics murder into eternal damnation like so much garbage.

Every week from now on I want to spotlight another missionary family worthy of your support starting with Things To Come Mission (TCM). There are so many I’m starting with the A’s at TCM.

This new series of posts is in conjunction with my life experience and teaching Biblical Financial Concepts for 30 years. See a brief summary of that wisdom and teaching here:  Financial Umbrella: Put a Missionary on the Payroll

Here’s my challenge, start sending any amount of money you feel led to give this missionary family every month, and watch what happens. You want to get God’s attention and blessings? Become a cheerful giver. Don’t give from leftovers; because there won’t be any. Give the first part and the last will take care of itself. God promises you will always have an abundance to give from. Put Him to the test; this is the only area in scripture God actually allows you to test Him. In Luke 6:38 KJV: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

God wants us to obey from love, not obligation. That’s why the apostle Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 9:7“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

The word used for “cheerful” in 2 Corinthians 9:7 is hilaros (doesn’t have anything to do with “hilarious”). Hilaros means cheerful, without grudging, and it implies giving with a gracious attitude. Therefore, we are to give because God says so but also because we are willing and happy to do so.

Here’s my next challenge to all the Alternative Media Podcasts out there. Do me a favor and invite these mission families on an occasional show so they can tell their story.

More exciting things are happening in the ministry of TCM in Northern Brazil. We so much appreciate the partnership of many who have given towards many of our projects. Nathan Campos made an update video of our ongoing construction projects we have been working on.

The metal bars are a much needed project to protect the church from break-ins. We had a total of 9 break-ins over the years in this building. We want to thank those who gave towards this project.

We still need some more funds to finish the lighting in the sports court and finish the second bathroom.

If you would like to give towards these projects, you may do so by going to https://tcmusa.org/donations/ Please, write on the memo “Northern Brazil Construction Projects.

Thank you all for your involvement and enjoy the video update

Campos–October 2023 – Recife, Brazil

Dear Friend,

Time flies for sure. Thank you for keeping us in prayer and for your continued support to our family and ministry. Here is a little update for you of what the Lord has been doing in our mist:

Family:

· Our oldest daughter Elly is expecting our second grandson, which is due in February. We are planning to be there for his arrival.

· Our son Nathan and his wife Aline continue to serve with us here in Brazil. They are heavily involved with many different ministries, but the work they have been doing with the youth has been a blessing. Many youth have given their lives to Christ, are being discipled and trained for ministry.

· Michelle has been struggling health wise this year, more recently, she has been experiencing lots of pain on her left knee. She has been to doctors and many tests have been done to figure out what is happening and what is the best course of treatment.

Ministry:

· We continue to develop two churches in the Recife area (Boa Viagem and Ibura). Both have experienced growth numerically and spiritually. We praise the Lord for that!

· In the area of training, Joe has been teaching two classes as part of the curriculum for the Bible Institute (Homiletics and Church Government). We have 7 students taking these classes. We also have 5 students taking advanced courses in church administration and all of them will be up for ordination next year.

· We continue to plant a church in the city of Sao Bento do Una, 3 hours west of Recife. Pastor Manoel Mota is the one planting that church.

· This year, we started holding Bible studies in the city of Abreu e Lima with the hopes of having a church planted there in the near future. We are currently meeting once a month on Saturday’s.

· We have already started the preparation for the ABBA Christmas Project. Many churches and individuals are coming together in prayer and financial giving in order to reach many kids this year. We are planning 3 meetings in 3 different locations. If you like to contribute towards this ministry here is a link https://tcmusa.org/donate/. Please, write “ABBA Christmas Project” on the designation box.

· We recently had an event for the Children’s day holiday here in Brazil. We had 110 kids attending GBC-Ibura. It was an afternoon of fun and an opportunity for every kid to hear the Grace Gospel.

Prayer and Praise:

· Pray for Michelle’s knee issue. Wisdom for the doctors and healing

· Pray for wisdom for us as we lead many different ministries

· Pray the Lord will raise many national leaders to take more responsibilities and help us to further the growth

· Pray for our trip next year to visit churches, family and friends

· Praise the Lord for a great year of ministry

· Praise the Lord for men and women who are taking more leadership roles in the churches

· Praise the Lord for the many churches and friends who have been praying and supporting us through so many years

· Praise the Lord for the great partnership of the Grace Churches and Friends throughout the years

In His Grace,

Joe Campos
