A Homeless Woman Helps a not-so Blind Guy – What Came Next Changed Her Life

Ezekiel Diet Note:  She was homeless but still stopped to help a stranger. Giving from very little is the definition of faith. I’ve come to believe that faith is power in God’s economy. It makes things happen. AND IT IS SOOO RARE! Whenever Jesus witnessed faith in action He always stopped, marveled, and commented to everyone around Him. It was always a big deal that got Jesus’ attention.

I’m not saying give to get. I’m saying if you give with the right mindset and intention, God knows your heart and He will always respond, sometimes pressed down, running over, so much you can’t handle it all. This woman is a cheerful giver in action.

God promises that when He finds a cheerful giver, someone who happily gives when prompted by the Holy Spirit; that person will always have an abundance to give from. We’re not living under the Old Testament 10% mandatory giving law. We have the Holy Spirit directing giving. The more you give; the more comes back pressed down, running over; so much you can’t handle it all. We have the Holy Spirit inside us to prompt us when, where and how much to give. You’ll know it’s the Holy Spirit when you disregard it and it keeps coming back.

If she took $5K out of that $26K and gave it to meet needs of other’s who were homeless, I would guarantee that she’s at the beginning of a substantial business. God would direct her steps, just like He told her to help this not-so blind guy. He’ll direct her steps and dump it on her just like He did here.

I know all this could have been staged. But there’s still an excellent lesson here. Think about this. You will become what you think about.
