I’ve personally struggled with the idea that the church plant system is one of Satan’s biggest victories in this little season usurping most Christian giving for nonsense. My training brought me right up to this fact, and then left it unsaid; for obvious reasons.

For decades, the American megachurch seemed unstoppable. Enormous auditoriums, celebrity pastors, professional worship productions, television ministries, and multimillion-dollar campuses appeared to represent the future of Christianity.
