First published in 1925, this book is a guide to achieving success and abundance in all areas of life, and is based on the idea that we have the power to create our own reality through the power of our thoughts and beliefs.

Throughout the book, Shinn explores the role that our thoughts and beliefs play in shaping our lives, and offers practical advice for using the power of the mind to create positive change. She encourages readers to adopt a positive and proactive mindset, and to take control of their thoughts and beliefs in order to create the life they desire.

In addition to offering practical advice, the book also includes a number of anecdotes and stories that illustrate the principles Shinn is teaching. These stories serve to bring the ideas to life and make them more relatable and understandable.

Shinn became a student of metaphysics and although connected to the publishing world as an illustrator of children’s books, she was unable to find a publisher to take on her book, “The Game of Life and How to Play It”. She was determined and self-published the work herself. She exemplified the idea that “Whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.” – in both business and in life.
