Look at these sample meals below. If you’re not eating meals like this every day, you’re probably potassium deficient. Look at where the potassium is in these examples.  This is about what you need to consume at each meal to even get close to 4,700 mg potassium a day. This is a key issue for anyone who retains fluid from excessive sodium, like me. I’m starting to understand that when I stop eating potassium rich meals like these, most of the time, I start gaining weight.
